Interested parties within the Association

The Association for People of Short Stature* has worked for people of short stature and parents of children of short stature since 1983. The Association for People of Short Stature is a national association within the National Association for the Handicapped**. They has yearly conferences, meetings and gives advice and support. The Association published a book; "Less common people" (available in Swedish only, price SEK 50 plus postage). Folders in Swedish are also available.

Goals for the The Association for People of Short Stature:

Produce information material on education and employment, clothes, means of assistance, diet and exercise, living condition and family matters.
Spread information to all target groups who might make contacts with people of short stature, for example Specialists, General Practitioners, District Nurses, schools and employers.
